It was with shock and anger that we saw announcements emenating from the Federal Government of Canada being titled "the Harper Government" on official statements and publicity.
The Government of Canada does not belong to Mr. Harper any more than it does to any one of the voters or members of Parliament.
This would seem to fall under the category of using the governments resources to promote a particular political party, which is ILLEGAL in this country.
We call upon the Conservative Party, the PMO, the PCO, and in particular Mr. Stephen Harper and Mr. Stockwell Day to cease this practice immediately and apologize to the Canadian public for such blatantly partisan misuse of our tax dollars.
