Help put a stop to Cyber Bullying in South Australia

In order to have this petition taken seriously I need 10,000 signatures. Once I have these signatures I plan to take this document to Nick Xenophon, an independent senator for South Australia and urge him to put in place a bill in the hopes it will be passed into law and help ALL victims of cyber bullying. WHY? I, like many have been the victim of Cyber Bullying - I can't however speak FOR them, only for myself. My hope in speaking out is that I can give others experiencing this destructive behavior the strength to come out of the shadow of fear. To speak for themselves and put a stop to this so others do not have to go through it. MY PERSONAL STORY 2 years ago because of a 24 year love of the wedding industry, and a want to help brides and business; I created Bridal Discount Book. A safe place for brides and grooms to find trusted, professional wedding vendors to help plan their special day. Little did I know I'd come up against a competitive business bent on destroying me and what I had successfully built. The slander & defamation about me and my business was, still is being directed at many of my current advertisers & countless future advertisers, as a way to discredit & defame my character and business. Much of this occurred over Facebook where they were told to unlike me personally & my business page. AND they were NOT to be seen advertising or associating with me if they didn't want to be booted out of their network. Amongst some of the countless lies, I was accused of stealing business, sending scam emails and to add credibility to these stories; people were told I had been sued or was being sued. NONE of this is true. These attacks have been on going for 18 months, are still going and have caused a great deal of damage. I have done nothing to warrant them other than be a competitive business. This doesn't only effect me but our family, friends & children - No one should be victim to cyber bullying and laws need to be implimented to protect people against it.
