I am disillusioned by American media...

Background:
Often enough, news stories appear to lack enough facts to provide sufficent basis for analysis on the part of the audience. This leads the audience to rely on a reporter/pundant. However, the reporter/pundant often appears to leave out important "known" facts when providing "expert analysis." Also, the reporter/pundant often appears to use distorted logic/rhetoric to persuade or confuse. This makes one wonder if the "expert analysis" can be trusted. Ultimately, the resulting mistrust or ignorance from faulty reporting/analysis leads to an uninformed audience. When news becomes uninformative, it becomes labeled as propaganda or entertainment.
Recommendation:
The undersigned suggest that the tide has turned in American culture and the world markets (reliance on blogs and mobile images) to suggest there is a need for a mass American news source that provides value through contextual digest/presentation of complex factual events. Religion is not one belief. Politics is not one party. The world is not one nation.
Therefore, through continued observation, the undersigned believe American media has lost credibility and (as an audience) require each news story be accompanied by factual context, history, and author biography(s).
