Immediate Firing/Resignation of Philadelphia Flyers General Manager, Paul Holmgren.

This Petition calls for the immediate resignation and/or firing of Philadelphia Flyers General Manager, Paul Holmgren.

Holmgren has destroyed the future of the Flyers organization with his horrible decisions and lack of Cap Management. Holmgren has given out way too many No Trade/No Movement Clauses, given away important future draft picks for practically nothing, and signed players for way more then they are worth. Because of Holmgren, almost nobody on the roster can be moved without being asked, and since the Flyers have so many hefty contracts, they have no cap room to bring in any new or young talent.

For too long, almost 40 years, fans of the Philadelphia Flyers have waited to see their team hoist what should have been ours years ago, The Stanley Cup. With the exception of one year in office, Holmgren has made no real improvements to this team, and with the comments he has made publicly, it is clear he is happy with what he sees. He refuses to address our goalie issue, and with his horrible management, doesn't even have picks to trade for anything.

With the Cap potentially going down in the coming years, Holmgren has completely strapped this team and its future.
