In a Vagina Far Away

Be it resolved that we, the undersigned, are strongly in favor of a mandatory rewrite of all public and private works of fiction, to incorporate the line, "A long time ago, in a vagina far away".

The reasons behind this are two-fold. Firstly, and more vastly, it would allow for all readers to make the necessary mental configurations - that is to say, by reminding them that this, as well as all works of fiction are inside the confines of a tight, sweltering, comforting vagina, that they are NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, and furthermore that should the reader feel incensed, that perhaps this is the wrong vagina for him/her. This will hopefully put a dampering on fundementalist efforts to get the latest Harry Potter or Scary Stories or Goosebumps, etc, book banned due to discomforting themes - or books such as Catcher in the Rye, The Giver, and Maniac McGee banned on account of promoting certain so-deemed "liberal" (by those who deem things "liberal") idealogies. Failing this, hopefully it will at least work to comfort these readers, by introducing into their subconscious minds the notion of a return to the warm, happy womb.

Secondly, because vaginas are hot and we believe this to be funny.
