As we all know..or at least, as most of us know...New Line has declared that the Scouring of the Shire will not be included in the final installment of THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING, even though it is a part that is looked forward to by fans worldwide. The Scouring itself has been filmed, but Peter Jackson has been told that he is unable to use it.
I know you have been asked to include so much in the extended editions, but for us die-hard fans, and for others, please include material that has already been filmed! We will be eternally grateful, and will surely boost sales of the Extended Edition.
