Injustice and Torture in United Arab Emirates

To Whom it May Concern:

We bring to your attention that (Saad Al-Mohammedi Awad Abdel Halim ) was subjected to the maximum degree of injustice and humiliation by some who think themselves to be above the law in the United Arab Emirates either by claiming that they have good relations and connections with the Royal Family and they threaten innocent people with those connections - or because they are employed in positions of power and influence in the UAE government and they use their powers and influence to threaten people and commit injustice

Colonel (Yousef Fares Yousef ) with the state security police in the UAE took advantage of his position as a colonel in the state security police of the state of Al-Shareqa and has threatened to imprison Saad Al-Mohammedi Awad in the United Arab Emirates for life by placing Saad name in any case if Saad wife does not indulge with the colonel in phone sex conversations, the colonel used to call her on daily basis & force her to speak to him and listen to his sexual immorality. And there is complete the evidence to prove this charge against the colonel; they have saved some of the colonels immoral messages which were received from his phone.

After حليم halimo's wife decided she would not continue talking with him and changed the phone number; the colonel began hunting for her husband trying to arrest him to falsely imprison him for life as he had threatened her before.

Saad Al-Mohammedi Awad Awad Abdel Halim has been imprisoned for 40 days in the United Arab Emirates on the charge of escaping from the guarantor (sponsor).The report was false and maliciously made by the sponsor,and the proof is that Saad arrived to the UAE on 26-9-2008 and the date of the generalization (Altameem) was 28-9-2008, and there were unpaid wages (financial issues) between Saad and the sponsor the Bin Oweida group which Saad was requesting to be paid and was not able to receive it although he reported it to the Abu Zaby police during his presence in Egypt, but no procedures nor actions were taken in that regard

The Bin Oweida group Fabricated a case No. 17587 Abu Dhabi charging Saad with insulting & defaming them during his imprisonment, and the case took a period of 6 months in court without being transferred to the expert (as per procedures) - and after 6 months the judge transferred the case to a suppsed expert but Saad was never interrogated nor questioned in the investigation by the prosecutor about the case - and after the transfer of the case to the alleged expert, the expert called Saad for a meeting in the experts home where Saad was questioned on the case by the experts wife & the experts father, and that was because the expert who was investigating did not understand the technical matters at hand.

Then said expert sent the judge a report which does not contain any evidence, and the evidence which Saad gave to the expert proving his innocence was neglected and instead only the expert s personal opinions were given in the report to the court, which led to sentencing Saad to 2 months in prison and a 10,000 Dirhams fine.

Saad Al-Mohammedi Awad filed a lawsuit against the Bin Oweida group for threatening him with life imprisonment on the claim of their friendship with the Royal Family of the UAE (case No. 218-2009 with District Attorney of Abu Dhabi at the Police in port number 45) But the case was neglected under the influence of Bin Oweida

Saad Al-Mohammedi Awad filed the complaint No. 30745 requesting the cancellation of the false report of his escape & the issuance of a permit for him to work in the UAE until the cases are judged, but the complaint was canceled again due to the influence of the Bin Oweida group.


Saad filed the civil suit No. 84-2009 Abu Dhabi to get to some of his proven rights, but the judge ordered expert fees in a sum which was higher than half what Saad was requesting, so the case was cancelled because Saad didnt have the money to pay.


For over ten months, Saads family have been without a provider for their needs, and are living on the assistance and help from friends in addition to his wife and childrens labor, and due to the hardship the husband is experiencing, his wife & children are working to provide for Saad who cant work nor may he even move in the UAE due to his passport being held by the immigration office. His wife sends him their hard earned money every month to survive and pay his rent.

In addition, Saad is being chased and hunted by colonel Youssef Fares Youssef with the state security police and is a fugitive due to the unjust sentence of 2 months and the high fine he received (a case which was investigated only by the unqualified expert and never by the District Attorney).

The injustices and humiliations this family are being subjected to in the UAE should not have happened or be happening to them and should be stopped. We know that the UAE is thought of as a country of justice, prosperity and equality; thus we have no refuge after ALLAH except your Majesty that you may help us to abolish these injustices and bring back the smiles to their children.

I hope that your Majesty will enfold them with your care and give them their smiles back which were stripped by unjust influence and power, nothing is left for this family except merciful people as yourselves to give them back their rights & their dignity. You assistance is of great importance and now words can detail their gratitude... you will be helping children, who have no place in such a unjust situation.
