During the past few years, Jack In The Box expanded into the south by opening locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Right now, they're opening more locations on those states, including their primary area, the West and Midwest. Back in the 80s, Jack In The Box tried to expand into Georgia and Florida, but those locations failed because in those states, KFC, Burger King, or McDonald's dominated the market...and they closed soonly after. Right now, those 3 restaurants are dominating the market way too much! It's about time we got a Jack In The Box in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Virginia, and Mississippi!
