This petition is to clearly oppose the employment of Mechelle Voepel at ESPN.com and all affiliates. Mechelle is the sole correspondent assigned to the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association). During these rough economic times, it seems gaudy and even offensive to compensate Mechelle for her 'services' to ESPN. Let's get that rim lowered, and maybe we'll talk. Until then we call for the immediate firing of this woman whos name is as contrived as the league she covers.
