Le mouvement MONTRÉAL-NORD RÉPUBLIK lutte pour que justice soit faite suite au meurtre de Fredy Villanueva. Nous portons 5 revendications :
1.LA DÉMISSION IMMÉDIATE DU MAIRE DE MONTRÉAL-NORD, M. MARCEL PARENT, qui a déclaré « Tout va bien à Montréal-Nord, il ny a pas de problème. Je nai jamais vu venir quoique ce soit ».
2.UNE ENQUÊTE PUBLIQUE ET INDÉPENDANTE SUR LA MORT DE FREDY VILLANUEVA
3.LA FIN DES PRATIQUES ABUSIVES DE LA POLICE (Intimidation, harcèlement, profilage racial, interpellations abusives, etc.)
4.UNE OEUVRE produite par des artistes du quartier et mise en valeur par lArrondissement pour garder bien vive la mémoire de Fredy.
5.LA RECONNAISSANCE du principe selon lequel tant quil y aura de linsécurité économique, il y aura de linsécurité sociale.
UNE MANIFESTATION EST PRÉVUE MECREDI SOIR PROCHAIN LE 20 AOÛT, À 18H00, DEVANT LHÔTEL DE VILLE DE MONTRÉAL-NORD (11 155, rue Hébert, coin Charleroi). NOUS DÉPOSERONS NOS REVENDICATIONS LORS DE LA SÉANCE DU CONSEIL DARRONDISSEMENT QUI SE TIENT À 19H00. Toutes les personnes solidaires de Fredy et de nos revendications sont invités à venir manifester.
