The Manitoba government is going to increase the minimum price for canned beer on April 18th, 2005. This is not acceptable to us. If companies such as Minhas Creek want to sell beer at extremely competitive prices, then there should be no problem with it. Other companies will have accept reality and compete. All we ask is that the competition is fair, and the provincial government and the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission not line their pockets with our money. Great beer is part of our Canadian culture, part of our heritage, and a great part of our way of life. We say "NO!" to high beer prices.
