Lake Catholic High School has hosted Student Executive Government Elections, since its birth and time and time again some of the most brilliant and potentially best candidates are barred from running due to the requirement of a 3.0 GPA
These elections would than allow only people who are naturally gifted in a majority of subjects the ability to run for office. This leaves the people who learn and have different strong points at a disadvantage and literally crushed students' dreams for years.
Albert Einstein, one of the most brilliant man in last century himself was not very good at school. Though once he was placed in his "element" of classes he excelled. Lake Catholic should allow anyone within a 1.5-2.0 minimum to run as an Student Executive Officer.
