TO HIS/HER WORSHIP THE MAYOR AND COUNCILLORS OF THE CITY OF GLEN EIRA IN COUNCIL ASSEMBLED
This petition of certain residents of the City of Glen Eira draws attention of the Council to the matter of recently installed speed humps in the city. Of particular interest are the interventions along McKinnon Road; a major transport route along which these installations serve little practical function. The narrow nature of the road already encourages cautious drivers to slow. Any additional interventions may prove difficult, for some, to contemplate and hence fail to improve traffic conditions. Your petitioners therefore pray that all recently installed speed humps be removed. And your petitioners will ever pray.
