MechWarrior PC Franchise

We ask this for the following reasons:
1. It has been too many years since MechWarrior4 was released.
2. Having played MechAssault, it being a "MechWarrior for Dummies" game; After all, where, during the Trial against the Clans on Tukayyid, would a pilot find "power-ups" for his machine? Come on, thats a lame gimmick.
3. With the increases in computing power (dual- and quad-core processors) and hard drive capacity, the level of graphical, as well as story-line and command/control detail can be brought to the level found in the BattleTech/MechWarrior novels.
4. MechWarrior games for PC, being Simulation games rather than Arcade games, appeal to us in ways that MechAssault never can/has/will.
5. We still play MechWarrior 3 and 4, both the storyline/missions on our own computers and MultiPlayer on LAN and the InterNet.
6. The level of multiplayer control allows for those of us who enjoy the MechWarrior novels to "recreate" classic battles, much as Civil War buffs do with Gettysburg and the like.
7. Some of us do not own an XBox, nor do we expect to buy one in the future.
8. The level of customization of the BattleMechs (in the MechLab) makes for a gaming experience that is never the same each time; yet individual MechWarriors can become "famous" for piloting certain 'Mechs in a particular configuration.
9. Due to the nature of PC games, the control interface/keybinding allows players more individualized setup of their controls; players can set controls based not only on weapon loads but according to their playing style.
10. We miss MechWarrior!
Besides, you'll make a lot of money.
