More Parking Meter Increases

I strongly object to the 20\% increase to raise fees to $3/hour for on-street parking meters, and the similar planned increases for 2009 and 2010.

The plans to have meters in operation until 9:00 pm weekdays, and both Saturday and Sunday will be a disaster for downtown businesses.

The health of the City of Ottawa as a whole is dependant on the vitality of the downtown.

Please rescind this decision.
