We, the undersigned are extremely disappointed with the decision made by the Scottish Parliament to release a convicted terrorist on the grounds of compassion, without consulting the family members of the victims of the Lockerbie bombing.
We would like to ensure that there is a change in the Justice process, whereby any convicted murderer, serving a life sentence, cannot be released on the grounds of compassion, without first consulting the families of the victims and gaining their approval.
