No Smoking in Pitt Street Mall

Sign the petition to help make Pitt Street Mall smoke free. This petition strives to get rid of the wall of smoke that hovers just above the ground and wall to wall between King St and Market St across Pitt Street Mall. Most of us only get out once a day (if that) for a bit of fresh air and a bite to eat and it would be amazing to be able to enjoy our lunch, watch the various street performers and just breathe some non recycled air conditioner air without having to choke on cigarette smoke. So am asking people who agree, to sign this petition. I can then forward to City of Sydney for review and hopefully change! So many public areas in Sydney are already smoke free, beaches, malls (Manly Corso comes to mind) so it's not an unusual request. I think we city dwellers should be able to walk outside and breath smoke free air like our suburban neighbours. As an ex-smoker I do understand the need for a smoke during the day, however it would be great if we could all enjoy the space! Thanks for your support
