We, the undersigned supporters of Workington Speedway, urge Allerdale District Council to implement the option of refurbishing the existing stadia in Workington.
It is our opinion that, Workington's best supported sport should remain in its existing home at Derwent Park.
We do not agree that the Council should spend millions of pounds on a super stadium, which we believe will not benefit the town, surrounding areas and the supporters of sport in Workington.
