Open Adoption Records

In all 50 United States there should be open adoption records. People who have been adopted have a right to know where they came from, their health histroy, and wether they have brothers and sisters. The fact that when we look in a mirror we see who we are we take for granted. Many of those who are adopted and are looking for their birth parents or any clues of their past have a hard road to conquer. The reason for this is that there are open adoption records in only 4 of the 50 united states. With open adoption records those looking for a clue to their past will have the opportunity to find it. Thank you for your time, please sign this petition if we get enough signatures we will be that much closer for open records which is not a want or a wish it is a right. A right to know, a right to understand ourselves.
