For too long have citizens of Trinidad and Tobago had to suffer at the hands of the sole Telecommunications provider, TSTT. They continue to claim that there are alternatives to their service, but what they fail to mention is that the alternative dial-up providers rely on TSTTs network to provide a service.
We have suffered for too long with overpriced and substandard service. Why is it that unlimited dialup usage costs us $345 TTD a month, but we connect at 17.6 kbps on occasion, or we have to go through hours of redialling or failed connects.
Why is it that in the USA and Canada, and even our neighbouring Barbados, that internet is significantly cheaper?

This must come to an end! In this increasingly technological world, we need to be able to afford to be on the internet for more than 40 minutes a day. We need to let them know that we need their service, but we are NOT satisfied.
