For too long FIFA have run football as a closed undemocratic shop. Sepp Blatter and his shady EXCO have continued to make decisions that aren't in the in the interests of fans. He seems only to care about making money and keeping his friends happy. Well now there is an answer to this Sepptic infection of soccer. Grant Wahl may only be an American journalist, but he is hoping to run for FIFA president and his policies include video technology for goal-line decisions, no yellow cards for celebrating with your shirt off, appointing women to senior FIFA positions, limits on presidency terms and a Wikileaks style leak of all FIFA's documents so you can find out just how they do select where to play the World Cup. Sound great? Of course it does! The problem is he can't run unless he is nominated by a country's governing body and nobody has nominated him yet. Wouldn't it be great to have a fresh face running corrupt and backward FIFA? Wouldn't it be great if Thierry Henry's handball had been canceled out after video review? It's time to oBlatterate Sepp. Sign this petition and get the FAI to nominate Grant!!!
