I am a member and owner of several canine groups in yahoo. I am a reputable Great Pyrenees breeder and former pit bull owner. For those of you out there who do love your pit bulls will throroughly agree with me on this petition. There are those of us who have been through the stereotype of the "bully breed". Pit bulls have suffered this stereotype more than others and this being one of the reasons why. There is a new heavy metal album out there that is about to be released in stores with pit bulls growling and snarling in the background. To me, this music encourages pit bulls and their reputation as fighters. I cannot beleive how low some folks will go to keep this reputation on pit bulls going no matter how many of us are out there trying to fight against this and reporting pit bull abuse all over the world. I assisted first hand in having one pit bull ring shut down in North Carolina with over 200 pits. Only two of them were young enough to make it outside of that life. The others were either so badly mentally broke down or physically they were euthanized. I have raised three pit bulls from birth and can personnally tell anyone they are one of God's most gentle and loyal creatures and do not deserve to have this reputation. The heavy metal industry sell most of their merchandise to teenagers and the younger generation. This generation is still learning and are very easily influenced and an album encouraging pit bull fighting is just going to make it harder on those of us trying to stop it. If you are curious to hear this music, there is a demo on the artist site. http://www.pitbullgrindcore.com/caninus/
The names of the songs are Human Rawhide and Locking Jaws.
I am asking that those of you that still beleive a voice will be heard, please sign this petition. I'm going to have this petition up for 90 days. If any of you in your comment section can make some suggestions on the different organizations I can send this to or email me privately and let me know.....we can have this album taken off the market.
