PlayStation 3 boot sequence

This petition requests that Sony Computer Entertainment include a special sequence upon the booting up of the "PlayStation 3", the company's new videogame. We, the undersigned, want the logo to be accompanied by SCEA's CEO, Kazuo Hirai, saying "RIIIIIIIDGE RACEEEEEEER" (as pronounced during his E3 2006 Press Conference). A video of the occasion or a 3D reproduction of his face are welcome additions, but not necessary. Giant enemy crabs are optional, but could potentially be worked into the new PlayStation 3 logo seeing as it already uses the Spider-Man font, and both are Arthropoda, the inclusion seems like a perfect fit.

We understand that the name of the game is trademarked by Namco, but as a long-time partner of SCEI and one of the companies that was present in every Sony console launch with a racing title of the series, it is but a small hurdle. We must remember that the essence of the PlayStation's DNA is real change, and the consumers are ready. By backing up such a perennial element, this message will be conveyed even more clearly.

With a SMRP of US$599 (five hundred and ninety nine dollars), we believe Sony will have enough resources to include such a feature especially after removing a second HDMI output, router functionality, two Ethernet ports, two USB ports and controller rumble feature since the original announcement in May 2005.

We, the undersigned, feel that these changes will keep the PlayStation brand and tradition going forward, and hereby request that SCEI take these into consideration during the production of the PlayStation 3 BIOS and boot sequence. We believe these changes will attack the competitions weak point and inflict massive damage.
