Politicians Cannot Talk Religion

Political Parties are NOT religious leaders. They are not qualified enough to talk about complex socilogical structures like caste, language etc. They use these complex variables to satisfy their selfish ends, to the general detriment of public good and social welfare. This must be stopped.
We, the People of India, hereby represent to the Election Commission that We, The People:
1. Would NOT like our Public Representatives to use :
A. Religion,
B. Community,
C. Caste,
D. Language,
or any other social factor as a means of Vote bank politics.
2. Wish to know, in Election manifestos, what our leaders and parties intend to do about Economy, Public Administration, Foreign Affairs and other Developmental needs of society. This must be made mandatory for all Manifestos.
We therefore petition that ALL POLITICAL PARTIES, WHETHER NATIONAL OR REGIONAL SHOULD:
A. Not be allowed to use the abovementioned social variables in their communication - Election Related or Otherwise.
B. Not be allowed to use the abovementioned in their Manifesto.
C. Unless Qualified, not be allowed to make general statements about the above.
D. Must be required to represent to the public their To Do List on the following at least:
1. Indian Economy
2. Agricultural Debt
3. Foreign Policy
4. Kashmir Issue
5. North East sense of Isolation
6. Other topical issues of national interest.
Further, should a political party want to address any of these issues in its Election Manifesto, as part of "Social Justice" , it MUST present to the Election Commission, in writing:
A. How the party is qualified to address the issue and why it considers itself qualified to address a sociological issue.
B. What is the background research done by the party/person into the issue - the agency used for the research, the methodology and the independant audit of findings.
C. The personal qualifications of party members who are making the recommendation. How they become qualified, by education and by their Public Service record(as against their political record) to recommend changes on issues of Social Equity.
D. The concrete steps being proposed for social justice, their objective and the timeline within which the results against the objectives must be reported to the public at large, or the scheme scrapped.
In effect, we recommend that the parties be FORBIDDEN from using generic sentences like "We will uplift the " without expressly indicating what they plan to do about it.
ONLY after the Election Commission has verified that there is a Social Justice Scheme that enables the party to present itself worthy of using these variables in their communication.
