Pursuant to Section 11020, California Election Code, the undersigned registered qualified voters of the State of California, hereby give notice that we are the proponents of a recall petition and that we intend to seek your recall and removal from the office of Governor of the State of California, and to demand election of a successor in that office. The grounds for the recall are as follows:
Arnold Schwarzenegger was given an opportunity to campaign for the office of the Governor of California through questionable processes and has acquired the position of Governor-elect by avoiding critical public analysis. Arnold Schwarzenegger is guilty of exploiting the public television networks for personal gain without accounting for the advertising as a campaign contribution. This petition is hereby enacted as a way to save the State of California and the United States of America billions of dollars in future expenses that will be incurred as a result of problems that will arise from Arnold Schwarzeneggers Governorship. Enacting this recall is a direct response from disenfranchised voters as a reaction to the removal of a duly elected Governor and the invalidation of the November 2002 election. The only way to ensure solid leadership for the State and to remedy the current political instability in California is to process a second recall with an open field of qualified candidates for the office of Governor.
