REFUSE TARC SERVICE CUTS!!!
TARC is cutting 20 routes and changing many more in a response to a lack of funding. Funding is lacking due to a drop in Occupational taxes attributable to the state of the economy. Local government is refusing to do anything, and in response TARC is cutting back on services in an attempt to keep buses running for the majority.
Demand: 1) No cuts to service! 2) A progressive answer to lack of funding!
If services are cut many will be stranded without transportation, jobs will be lost, poverty and, homelessness will increase. In this economic climate cut backs and subsequent job loss is not acceptable!
