Ringtown Elementary Awards Day

Awards Day in Ringtown Elementary has been a a very special day for many years. It is a day where the children deserve recognition for their hard work in front of family and friends! During the April 12th PTO meeting, it has been decided by the Ringtown-Frackville Principal, as well as the NS Superintendant, that a new format for this event will take place. The new format has been explained as simply distributing the awards to the children in their classroom, as they would their homework or report cards. Many parents feel this takes away recognition for the outstanding accomplishments of each individual that worked hard for such awards. For those of you that agree, we have decided to start a petition to keep the format of this day as it has been in the past. (If you are a concerned parent from Frackville-Ashland Elementary and would like to sign, please do so and write your school after your signature.)
