Sale of the New York Mets Petition

The current Mets ownership, under Mr. Fred and Jeff Wilpon, is not working and non-effective. Therefore, the undersigned are asking that you, Mr. Wilpon, sell your shares of the New York Mets, and fire the current manager of the New York Mets, Art Howe. We, the undersigned, ask that you, the Wilpons, announce publicly that the team is for sale. We, the undersigned, also ask that the firing of Art Howe, current manager of the New York Mets, be announced at a press conference after October 3, 2004 and before midnight of January 1, 2005. If the New York Mets are not sold by Opening Day 2005, we, the undersigned ask that a new CEO and new COO be put into place, until the sale of the baseball club is completed.
