Save Monte' and the Celeb

We, the Undersigned, respectfully request that you grant one wish.

The Monte Carlo and the Celebrity are the two best cars ever made. They were stylish, dependable, powerful and economical.

Take the celebrity.. Great wheel-base, good center of gravity, great suspension, nice design. Powerful little 4 or 6 cylinder engines. The Celebrity was nearly PERFECT. The only flaw was the cheap fuel sensor and the location of the fuel gauge. Other than that, the car was a dream. We've driven many cars, and quite a few celebrities, and can attest to this. You could beat the crap out of a Celebrity; drive 300,000 miles, get in a dozen accidents, let a bunch of teenagers drive it like maniacs, and the car still drove like a champ. The Chevy Celebrity is the most dependable car Chevrolet ever made.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the Chevy celebrity with all the features and durability we loved with a better fuel sensor and a beautiful rendition of the retro body style. Do this and we, our family, our friends, colleages and co-workers will beat a path to your dealerships.

Now take the Monte Carlo SS. Early to mid 80's, Monte Carlo was king of the highway. Good suspension, tight brakes, good frame width, powerful engine, and a cool body. Monte Carlo ruled. Then came the mid 90's. You updated the body style and it was absolutely beautiful. But you made it front wheel drive. That killed it. Then in the 2000's, you changed the body style again and now it's ugly. That was the final nail in the coffin. PLEASE build a 2007 rear-wheel drive Monte Carlo SS that looks more like the '97 model! PLEASE!

In closing, please bring back the Celebrity and save the Monte Carlo. If you do this, we, our families, our friends, our colleagues and coworkers will buy these cars and continue to spread the word.

P.S. Make the 2007 Chevy Celebrity a Hybrid, and this petition's author will be drooling all the way to the dealership.
