The fans of ONE PIECE would like to severely protest the 4Kids aqcuisition of this anime.

By placing the anime (already fully established and well on it's 200+ episode in Japan) on during the FOX Kids' lineup, we are assured that this slightly risque, bloody at times anime, with characters that smoke, swear and flaunt their bodies a bit (all in the name of humor and never done tastelessly) will be raped severely.
4Kids must have paid a fortune for it.
We can not stop this.
But we would like to record our DISGUST and horror at having our favorite anime series taken over by a USA marketer that will change the classic lines and humor to be "child friendly". Dumbed down. In other words, "Pokemon-ized".
We would also like to request that 4kids perhaps split the series and record a more AUTHENTIC version, for adults. While this probably will never happen, we would like it, for you are ruining one of the best animes out there by labelling it a "child's cartoon" and not a "cartoon television show".
