Save the Bull Inn at Brasted

I condemn Shepherd Neame's actions in failing to invest in the Bull Inn, Brasted's popular local, in over the last 30 years and, by offering the pub for sale while retaining the garden and car park for housing development. The sale has received significant interest from several pub companies and breweries but only if the pub is sold with the car park and garden. By refusing to sell the complete site, Shepherd Neame is almost certainly ensuring that the Bull has no viable future.

I support the campaign to get the Bull Inn re-opened as a community oriented pub, by preventing the separate development of the pub car park and garden into housing and the sale of the pub for any use other than as a community pub, for example for housing or offices.
