To appeal to Cairns City Council to reveiw the building permit on 348 Sheridan St. North Cairns. So that conditions can be put in place to guarantee the retention of two very old trees which are on the property. One is over 200 years old. These trees form the key of an urban vegetation corredor which spans many properties and which will be severely affected if these trees are removed.
Additionally we would like to see the establishment of a Heritage Tree Register for Cairns so that these and other significant trees within Cairns City can be preserved for future generations.
