As of 2007, the Performing Arts program at Macomb Community College will be indefinitely suspended. For many people in the Macomb area, the courses offered at Macomb Community College are the only options they have to attain the experience they need to compete in such a spirited industry. To remove such a valuable program would be a travesty.
We who sign this petition may be avid theatre admirers or simply against the obliteration of a very necessary program at Macomb Community College.
