The IMAX cinema in Belfast opened to great fanfare when The Odyssey Complex was unveiled to us here in Northern Ireland way back in 2001. And what have we seen in the IMAX since then? The same 4 or 5 IMAX movies on constant repeat when films such as Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, Superman Returns and Spiderman 3 are brought out in IMAX format.And what do we get: T-Rex in 3D. Woo feckin Hoo.
We therefore ask the new owners that the Northern Irish public are shown some respect and allowed the opportunity to watch REAL movies or pack up and rent the space out for another trendy night club.
