Singing Fish at Limerick Market
Sign Now
Less than two decades ago Dunph purchased a singing fish from the Limerick Market in the lead up to Christmas.
Devastatingly, the Dunph was soon to discover that the fish was defective. As he said himself, "it woudn't stop singing once I turned it on."
To this day the fish has not been replaced, nor has Dunph received financial compensation. They haven't even repaired the fish. Yet year after year the Christmas market returns to Limerick and is embraced by the city, the people, the government and authorities. The market has been rewarded for its shoddy attitude to consumer affairs with loyalty by the people of Limerick. It's time to take a stand and say no more.
We call on the people of Limerick and the world to engage in a campaign of civil disobedience until the market is banished or Dunph's fish is replaced.
