The main objective:
To gain funding and backing from Neath Port Talbot Council to build a Skatepark in Neath Town Centre.
The objectives derived from this petition are to:
- Raise awareness of the growing numbers of extreme athletes in the Neath Town Centre, whether their medium is Skateboarding, BMXing, Inline/Roller Skating, Scootering etc.
- Show the growing demand for a Skatepark (Indoor or Covered Outdoor).
- To help develop, and show, the talents and skills of these people.
- To provide a youth provision and youth program to encourage exercise and creativity.
- To prevent damage to property/business' in the Neath area.
