Stanley is a small village full of a high number of children aged 10 - 16 who are all very interested in sports such as skateboarding, BMX, Roller blading and also Scooter riding. However the community does not have facilities to support these children's hobbies. These children are forced to ride in areas unsuitable such as community centers, schools and also doctors, they are constantly getting kicked out of areas because they have nowhere to practice and even get better.
Some children ride forty five minutes into the heart of Wakefield on a weekend as this is the closest 'skate area' available.
