Solidarity for Dan Rather of CBS against right wing attacks

It seems the right wing has finally seen their dreams of destroying Dan Rather of CBS come to fruition, or, that's what the corporate media would like us to believe. Regardless of whether you believe that RoveCo manufactured "fake" Bush AWOL documents and had them sent to CBS to frame Rather, all these "experts" who are saying the documents are forged are planted RNC operatives or the industrial media complex manufactured this entire scandal to both distract the public's attention from the campaign and to expose "disruptive" people in the media who've recently been agitating against the FCC and media ownership laws, it's clear who was being targeted, and that's Dan Rather and others who dare to offer alternative views.

In order to prevent the complete right wing hostile takeover of the corporate media, it's important that we, the people, take up each of these battles with uncompromising vigor. Whether it's Dan Rather being framed by the RNC or Pacifica radio being hijacked by capitalistic infiltrators, we need to be there in numbers, with an online petition behind us if possible.

It is in this interest that this petition has been created, to give a voice to those of us who wish to express our solidarity with Mr. Rather, and our deep resentment toward CBS for allowing the right wing to slander and defame one of the last remaining journalists in American media who is willing to take on the Establishment and to meet corporate propaganda with strong collective dissent.
