Hello,

I am StatusQ3, member of the Republic Commando clan RedCell. I am an enthusiastic supporter of the game, and I decided to try to get support for the rumored Republic Commando 2 online. Even if you do not play, out of kindness and consideration to those who do, it would be highly appreciated if you sign this petition.

Republic Commando is truly a one of a kind game. It is the only Star Wars game in existence to feature no Jedi's at all, as it a action-packed shooting game. The game is set during the events of the Clone Wars that started at the climax of the movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. In the game, the player will travel to various locations in the Star Wars universe, including Kashyyyk, Geonosis, and the derelict spacecraft, Prosecutor. The game is the first in the Star Wars universe to feature a militaristic style of playing, which sets a darker tone than other games that are a part of the Star Wars franchise.

In single player, you take the command over 4 elite clones, known as Commandos, that do the work of a whole army themselves. With commands, you control yourself as much as your fellow squadmates, and you work collectively to accomplish ambitious goals.

Online Republic Commando becomes ten times more interesting. With the characters' maneuverability (including things such as the sidestep function) and the ability to throw grenades so quickly, Republic Commando is a game with an essence that no other game matches. One has to dodge all type of fire, from grenades to shotgun to snipers. In no other first person shooter do you so actively combine footwork and dodging with aim and killer instinct. This adds a whole new dimension to the game that can be found nowhere else.

Although it is an old game with few players compared to Counter Strike and other of that caliber, Republic Commando has it's loyal supporters. There are a few clans and a few individuals who breathe life into the game.
