We, the Undersigned, call upon Christ Hospital and Advocate Health Care Systems to STOP their abortion practice and change their policy so that they will no longer commit or refer abortion on babies due to their physical or mental handicaps or due to the circumstances of their conception. That Christ Hospital also aborts for "health of the mother" is nothing other than cruel kindness. Abortion is not only deathly to infants but has also been overwhelmingly proven to be physically and psychologically harmful to their mothers and fathers. A hospital named after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ should lead the battle to combat the horrors of abortion rather than be partners with it.

A hospital which calls itself by the name of our Savior suggests that it follows His values. Christ taught that all little children were to be brought unto Him. If God decides to give us a special, handicapped child, who are we to question His wisdom?
