Stop the Hate in Troy

Hate speech is a controversial term for speech intended to hurt, intimidate, or to incite violence or prejudicial action against someone; and which is motivated by hatred of them because of some innocuous personal characteristic such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, inherent sexual orientation, disability. The term includes written communications as well and may include what some consider actions or deeds. It is our intent to stop this from happening in our city. The protesters at Planned Parenthood every week are using this form of speech to intimidate the patients at Planned Parenthood without even a slight understanding that these men, women, and children, that use the services are not necessarily even there to obtain an abortion. Please help us in putting a stop to the use of these hateful and abusive signs.
