Stop the potential Nursery hours cut by Stoke-on-Trent council 2013!

As a lot of you may have heard, the Council are looking at ways of saving money and wish to consider cutting the hours of Early Year Education (Nursery places for 3 year olds). This would mean children would get 15 hours of Nursery Education-that's it. No more 30 hour places.
One of the 'benefits' of children getting 30 hours education is a lot of mothers choose to go back into education or work as childcare is no longer an issue.
Other parents do not feel they can give the quality of education at home that matches that of the qualified staff at Nurseries.
More information can be found here: http://www.stoke.gov.uk/ccm/content/council-and-democracy/finance/accounts/budget-books/budget-consultation-2013/review-of-early-years.en
Please contact the council directly if you feel strongly about this-its our children's future at stake
We don't want our children to miss out of their 30 hour Nursery place so we are petitioning Stoke-on-Trent Council to NOT make changes and to look at other areas to make savings on-don't play with our children's education! Early Years are the most important so don't mess with it.
