Stop The Proposed Budget Cut of the Connecticut Children's Medical Center

Dear Governor Jodi Rell,

This petition is made with the intent of letting you know that the proposed cut of the subsidy that benefits the Connecticut Children's Medical Center for the tax year 2006 will not be tolerated by the people of Connecticut. This hospital is an important asset to the people of Connecticut and surrounding areas. Our children are our future and we, as residents of Connecticut, need to know that we have this facility in the event that an unfortunate event should occur to a child we know and love. Please find your cuts elsewhere, it is necessary that the State of Connecticut have this facility, these specialists and the equipment contained in that center at our disposal should the need arise. We ask that you instead look for other areas where the money needed can be raised and that this facility remain open for all that need it.
