As many of you know we live in Nolensville on McCanless Road. We have lived here less than a year and have recently found out that there is a proposal to sell the land adjacent to our land to the Williamson County Park and Recreation Department to develop into soccer fields. Please do not be fooled into thinking this would be a great idea. There have been several fatal accidents at the intersection of McCanless Rd and Nolensville Rd. Not to mention there will be an increase in traffic due to the new subdivision across from Old Horton Hwy and Nolensville Rd. Nolensville has grown enough. Adding these soccer fields in this location is dangerous to those attending the fields but more so to the neighbors that have to live near this. These roads are not designed for this traffic and will cause serious harm to those that live around the neighboring area. Please sign this petition to protect the land and prevent any more unnecessary traffic to Nolensville Road.
