We ("STUDENTS TO SAVE THE NEWS OF THE WORLD") believe that the closure of this great newspaper - following monstrous allegations that have yet to be proven in any way factually accurate - represents an affront to some of the very basic tenets of what makes the British great. Young student journalists across the country - the Future of our Media - have been left jobless and pushed out of the market by the paper's closure.
The news has been filled with reports of your intimate personal relationship with many of the "head honchos" of News International - including ex-NOTW editors Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson. We urge you to use these connections to persuade said ex-editors to re-establish the paper immediately, and honour all its promises (with regards to previously-established work placements, internships, experience, references, etc) as soon as possible.
Furthermore, we demand that the founder of the group - 'Mimi Kempton-Stewart', one of the most badly affected by this scandal - be offered a (paid or unpaid) work placement at 10 Downing Street, in the office of the Prime Minister or similar (preferably not the deputy). Mimi can do all this summer, except for the w/c the 24th, when she is going to Brazil for a fortnight. She can be contacted at [email protected]
Once again, we urge you to reconsider the closing of this great institution and to get back to us forthwith.
