Are you getting bored of regular Let's Play's? Do you remember Mystery Science Theater 3000? Do you wish you could have an MST3K style riffing session on video games with the help of other people from the YouTube community? Well, YouTube already has something like that in the form of the "Let's Jab".
A "Let's Jab" is like a Let's Play where the commentary is in annotation form and made by viewers like you. This is done using YouTube's Collaborative Annotations feature (otherwise known as "Public Annotations"). The combined effort and wittiness of the YouTube community makes these videos an absolute joy to watch.
Unfortunately for us, this feature was broken for over a month and only fixed as of the August 28, 2010 weekend. It seems to us that this particular feature was on the backburner, nearly forgotten. YouTube features and functionality will often come and go. Therefore, we need to show YouTube that this is an important feature to keep (and to keep FUNCTIONING).
Our goal is to bring the Let's Jab to the community at large. In doing so, we believe that video game commentary may evolve into something new, collaborative and absolutely hilarious. Please show your support for Let's Jabs and the Collaborative Annotations feature by signing this petition.
