Support for Dr. Gopal

I am a student or alumnus of the University of Western Ontario. I am sending this email in support of Professor Abhijit Gopal.

Professor Gopal has been a valuable educator and an advocate of student engagement at the University of Western Ontario. On numerous occasions he has gone out of his way to help students learn and achieve their goals both academically and professionally. I believe that the Ivey Business School should be encouraging faculty excellence and student engagement which Professor Gopal has consistently demonstrated.

Professor Gopal has been suspended without a formal hearing or even an investigation into any allegations made against him. As a business school that prides itself on acting responsibily I feel that the Ivey Business school and the University of Western Ontario should conduct a formal hearing in order to represent itself as an organization that not only preaches responsibility but practices it as well.
