To the Prime Minister of Canada Mr. Stephen Harper and the Conservative Government,
We, the undersigned, request that the rules in regards to Half-masting the National Flag of Canada be changed to include the fallen men and women that serve this country in the military. We request that this change be applicable in particular to the flag at the Peace Tower, to show respect to our fallen soldiers.
Though is it only by the choice of the government in power in regards to who or who not to lower the flag for, or go by the original rule set forth, we believe that our fallen soldiers deserve the same respect as the Queen, Governor-General, Prime Minister etc., when they pass.
They gave their lives serving their countries and protecting those who need it, its the least we can do.

The lower of the flag represents our acknowledgement of the hard work of those who represent us aboard, wether or not we are a military society is not an issue, the flag should always be flown at half mass when Canadian soldiers have been offical deployed
