The Iraqi parliament with two houses, one for The House of Representative and the other for Senate

We, the undersigned Iraqis would like to file our petition to the Iraqi National Committee Members to consider our proposal for the Iraqi parliament with two houses, one for Representative and the other for Senate.
The success of any parliament depends on a balanced representation of its sectors both socially and politically in a way that serves the country and nation, and minimizes the threats of conflicts in the society. In the case of Iraq, which is diverse ethnically and religiously, we propose having two Houses: House of Commons elected by the nation to represent all people, and reflect their political weight, and House of Senators represent all sects and ethnicities in Iraqi provinces, selected by the people. We suggest to have 42 Senators, distributed as follows: 6 Senators for Baghdad, 6 Senators for Mosul, 5 Senators for Kirkuk, 3 Senators for Arbil, 2 Senators for Dohok 4 Senators for Diala, 3 Senators for Amara, 3 Senators for Basra, 10 Senators for rest of the provinces, (Sylimanya, Sallah Al Den, Al Anbar, Babil, wast, De Qar, Qadisya, Al Muthana, Najaf, Karbala), one Senator for each province, in consistence with its population. A group of experts should be formed to research the expertise of other nations in this field, particularly; those with two houses, such as America, Canada. Switzerland, or others, then apply that to Iraq to sustain democracy. Before 1958, Iraq experienced a parliament with two houses that accommodated its diversities. We would like current Parliament members to consider this recommended proposal in hopes for all Iraqis to be represented.
