This petition is to allow students of Lester B. Pearson, whom have not completed their 'TA Portfolio', and acquired a TA credit, the right to participate in graduation ceremonies. We, the undersigned, feel that the 'TA Period' is a practice in absolute tedium. We, the undersigned, feel that students were never given fair warning as to the consequences of not completing the assigned work, nor were they given the chance to reprimand themselves.
The student body agrees. The message board and signers of this petition are evidence of this.
We, the undersigned, feel that students have been unfairly denied the chance of partaking in graduation ceremonies. We hereby petition the CBE (Calgary Board of Education) and the administration at Lester B. Pearson High School, to allow students who have not acquired their TA credit, the right to participate in the graduation ceremonies.
